Grief isn’t linear. It doesn’t clock out when you’re ‘supposed’ to be over it. It lingers, hits in waves, and sometimes shows up when you least expect it. And honestly? That’s normal.

These journal prompts aren’t about rushing you to ‘move on.’ They’re about helping you name what hurts, honor what’s gone, and find pieces of yourself in the process. Because grief doesn’t mean you’re broken — it means you loved deeply. And writing is one way to remind yourself that healing and hurting can exist at the same time.
